Tips for Academic Pathology Trainees (APT)

Histopathology used to be one of the academic titans of the medical specialties but it’s experienced a recent seismic change; numbers of academic pathology trainees are now at a record low.

Why?

A lack of critical mass. Fewer trainees are going into academia. Of those who do, most are working in isolation, becoming disillusioned and disheartened at the inefficiency of having to ‘learn the hard way’.

This website is a collection of academic resources and ‘tips and tricks’ so that regardless of where you work or what stage you’re at, you needn’t struggle alone any longer.
